Islam Times - 75 Prisoners Escape from Jail in Paraguay

Islam Times - The Paraguayan government has announced that at least 75 prisoners, including members of the most dangerous Brazilian gang, have escaped from a prison in the country through a tunnel dug underground.

"The director of the prison in Pedro, near the border with Brazil, Juan Caballero and six other prison officials, were dismissed against the background of the accident," Paraguay's Minister of Justice Cecilia Perez told reporters.

"Among those fleeing are members of the First Capital Command gang, which is the most dangerous organized crime gang in Brazil," she noted.

"It was a process that took days and it is impossible for officials not to realize that the prisoners were planing ... It was clearly a paid plan," she added.
