Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the work team of the pavilion and the local contractor in building the pavilion started construction work, saying that it is an "important stage of participation" in the exhibition that will be held in Dubai, UAE.

He stressed that it "continues to supervise the long construction process in cooperation with the host country, United Arab Emirates".

And the Israeli media announced last December that the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yuval Rotem, signed the official papers for the participation of "Israel" in the "World Expo" that will be held in Dubai next October.

Rotem visited Dubai at the head of a delegation that included senior officials in the office of the Prime Minister of Israel, as part of the preparations for the opening of the exhibition, and met officials in the government of the United Arab Emirates and the Expo Department, in the framework of these preparations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Israeli entity, Israel Katz at the time, considered that the participation of "Israel" in the exhibition "reflects the rise of its position, not only at the international level, but also among the main actors in our region."

It is noteworthy that Katz postponed a planned visit in the middle of this month to the Emirate of Dubai "for security reasons".

The visit, which was in the background of the "Expo", was supposed to be an official visit to Katz, during which he holds political meetings in order to "push his initiative to conclude a non-fighting agreement" with the GCC countries.
