Chinese Authorities Order Cremation of Corona Victims

The remains of deceased injured patients may not be transported between different regions at the district level, nor can they be stored in the burial or by any other means, according to a common guideline issued by the public offices of the National Health Committee, the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security.

The bodies must be disinfected and placed in a sealed bag by medical personnel, as appropriate, so that it is not permitted to be opened after sealing.

The guiding principle emphasized that funerals must send individuals and special vehicles to deliver the bodies according to specific methods, and corpses must be cremated in specific crematoriums.
