Russia has strengthened the Syrian army's missile defense systems to repel Israeli airstrikes, the Daily Sabah reported, quoting Al-Sharq Al-Awsat.
According to the Daily Sabah, Russia has lost patience with Israel's airstrikes in Syria.
The report says that Russia would be able to support the Syrian government, and Damascus will be more able to counter the attacks of the Zionist regime by using advanced missile defense systems and technical knowledge provided by Russia.
In recent years, the Syrian army's air defense has repeatedly confronted fighter jets, drones, helicopters, as well as the Zionist regime's missile attack on the country.
The Zionist regime always targets the positions of the Syrian army and infrastructure in order to support the terrorists.
The crisis in Syria began in 2011 with a massive offensive by terrorist groups backed by Saudi Arabia, the United States, and their allies to shift the regional equation in favor of the Israel regime.
