The Al-Houthi Movement: The Yemeni Government is no longer Legitimate

Muhammad ‘Abd al-Salam, stated in regards to targeting civilian areas far away from battlefields: “The conditions in Saada are horrific because Saudi Arabia is bombing all of the civilian areas.”

Regarding the international silence, he stated: “These crimes are similar to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza because clear and barbaric crimes are being committed by the Saudi Arabian regime against the people of Yemen in the shade of international silence.”

He continued: “Today the people of Yemen are protected their unity in defense of their rights…Whatever we do is to defend ourselves and to defend the borders which is actually the responsibility of the government.”
