Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang on Monday denied accusations by US President Donald Trump that Hunter Biden, son of former US Vice President Joe Biden, was receiving money from China.

"All these allegations are completely false," a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman told a news conference.

US President Donald Trump has accused Hunter Biden, son of rival Joe Biden, of receiving $ 1.5 billion in cash from China.

The Democratic Party has launched a formal inquiry into an effort by US President Donald Trump to seek political support from a foreign power to harm a political adversary. Such an investigation would lead to the removal of the president, while Trump has denied it.
