US House of Representatives Is About to Prevent Trump from Going to War with Iran

Pelosi said that in order to uphold the national duty to maintain the security of Americans, the House of Representatives will press ahead with legislation on war powers aimed at curbing President Donald Trump's actions regarding Iran.

Pelosi noted that concerns have not yet been dispelled over Trump's actions and his justification for ordering the assassination of Soleimani.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards destroyed the American “Ain al-Assad” base in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq, with dozens of ballistic (ground-to-ground) missiles at dawn on Wednesday, in response to the assassination of the commander of the Quds Force in the Guard, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and the deputy head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and their comrades, at Friday dawn.
