Daesh Launched a 2nd Chemical Attack in Mosul

The attack occurred in a recently-liberated area of Mosul where the Federal Police and Rapid Response forces were advancing towards the old city, still under Daesh control.  
 
The victims are being treated at a field clinic and an investigation was launched to determine what type of gas was used.

Iraq's Joint Operations Command said: “The Daesh terrorist gangs tried to block the advance of our forces by using shells filled with toxic chemical material, but the effect was limited.”

Federal Police officers said that the chemical weapons were fired from the Urouba and Bab Jadid districts.
