Iran’s Missile, Military Might Non-Negotiable: President
Addressing a gathering of the people of Qom during a one-day visit to the holy city on Thursday, the president said there were some people who warned that the country may get involved in a war and in order to prevent it, Iran should make concessions over its military and missile capabilities.

However, he added, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei judiciously rejected the idea and underlined that military capabilities and components of the country’s power are in no way subject to negotiations.

Raisi referred to Iran’s recent Operation True Promise against the Israeli regime and said the operation, which rubbed the enemy’s muzzle in the mud, manifested the country’s military might.

In the early hours of April 14, the IRGC Aerospace Force launched tens of missiles and drones against military targets in the occupied territories.

Dubbed Operation True Promise, it was carried out in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s April 1 airstrike that killed seven Iranian military commanders and advisers in Syria.

While the IRGC employed its old weaponry in the operation, the Zionist regime had to resort to every possible equipment in its possession for defense, which revealed too much information about its operational capabilities.

In a meeting with top Iranian military commanders on April 21, Ayatollah Khamenei admired the Iranian Armed Forces for manifesting the country’s power and determination in the international arena by conducting the retaliatory operation against the Israeli regime.
