Ayatollah Khamenei: Support of Liberal West for “Israel” Reveals True Face of Their Freedom, Human Rights

The 6th edition of the Assembly of Experts opened on Tuesday morning. On this occasion, Imam Khamenei issued a message, calling the Assembly of Experts the epitome of Islamic representation and invited the awakened consciences of the whole to think about and pay attention to the comprehensive and stable plan of Islamic governance.

“In the Islamic system, the goals are divine,” the Leader stressed.

Referring to the ongoing US-backed “Israeli” genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, Imam Khamenei said that the support of the so-called liberal Western governments for “Israel” reveals what freedom and human rights truly mean for those states.

Elsewhere in the message, the Leader once again offered condolences over the martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Friday Prayers leader of the city of Tabriz Sayyed Mohammad Ali Al-e Hashem, praying to God to bestow divine forgiveness and blessings on them.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian died in a helicopter crash in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan.

Following the tragic death of Iranian President Raisi, Imam Khamenei declared a 5-day mourning in Iran.
