Ismail Haniyeh Highlights Efforts of Martyr Raisi to Solve Gaza Crisis

Ismail Haniyeh said this morning (Wednesday) at the funeral procession of the martyred president and his companions at the University of Tehran: " I announce that I have come on behalf of the resistant nation of Palestine to participate in the funeral procession of the martyred president and minister of foreign affairs of Iran and to express my condolences for the martyrdom of the men who were with him and that such a divine event happened. I ask the almighty to grant them mercy and place them in paradise."

He added: "During the holy month of Ramadan, during my trip to Tehran, we had a meeting with Mr. President, and he once again emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran's steadfast position on the Palestinian nation, and we listened. In this meeting, they mentioned several points, of which I am referring to points."

The head of the political bureau of Hamas stated that the issue of Palestine is the first issue of the Islamic Ummah and said: "The Islamic Ummah uses all its capacities for the liberation of Palestine. The issue of Palestine is not only political and it is in the depth of the belief of the Islamic Ummah. In this land, there is the first Qibla of Muslims and the Ascension of the Holy Prophet."

Stating that he (Mr. Raisi) said in the second issue that resistance is a strategic choice for us to realize the freedom of Palestine, Haniyeh said: "Resistance in Palestine is the first bastion of resistance of the Islamic Ummah. We in the Islamic Republic of Iran continue to support the resistance so that the resistance's demand is realized."

Stating that the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was the third case mentioned by Ayatollah Raisi, he said: "The President said, and as we also see, the " Al-Aqsa Flood" was a battle that targeted the heart of the Zionist regime and created a historical change at the global level. The Palestinian nation and the heroic people of Gaza will continue this battle until the complete liberation of Palestine and the Quds."

The head of the political bureau of Hamas said: "In the end, once again, in the presence of the people and the leaders of the resistance axis and the Palestinian resistance groups, I say that we are sure that the Islamic Republic of Iran will support the Palestinian nation in its own way with the policy, strategy until the day when we proudly raise the flag of victory and the flag of monotheism above the domes of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Quds."
