US Police Arrest Students in Stanford University

Approximately 10 students entered the administrative offices building around 5:30 a.m. on the last day of classes for the spring quarter, according to the student newspaper The Stanford Daily, while about 50 students linked arms and surrounded the building, chanting, "Palestine will be free," Reuters reported.

Issuing a statement, Stanford University announced that 13 students who entered the president's office were arrested, claiming that a lot of damage was done to the internal and external parts of the building.

In recent months, a large student movement has been launched in the US and Europe in support of Palestine, and the police have arrested a large number of them.

The American student protest movement began on April 17 at Columbia University in New York; the protesting students called on the university to cut off its relations with the Israeli institutions involved in the war on Gaza.

Since October 7, more than 36,500 Palestinians have been killed and over 82,700 others have been wounded, with the Israeli regime failing yet to reach its alleged goal.

More than 3,500 Palestinian children below 5 years of age in the Gaza Strip have been deprived of food, milk, nutritional supplements, and vaccinations due to the Israeli regime's policy of starvation.

The US House of Representatives voted to sanction the International Criminal Court because of issuing a verdict against the Israeli regime.

The US House of Representatives passed the bill in a 247 to 155 vote, with 42 Democrats joining Republicans in support.
